Mette Termansen has a Master’s in Forestry (Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen) and in Environmental Economics (York). She has a PhD in Environmental Economics from the University of York (2001).
Mette Termansen’s professional career has unfolded in England, first at the University of York and since as Director and lecturer at the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI), School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds.
She is currently professor in Environmental Economics at the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI), Aarhus University.
